Fragrance has a way of carrying us back to moments in time vivid enough to tether to a distinct scent. It also has a way of bringing us to places or eras we’ve never been to. To imagine a reality that is unlike our current one and create an entire realm with unlimited possibilities. It’s meant to be fun, experimental, nostalgic. That is our hope, to make your space feel like the setting of your own feature film.

Thoughtful Ingredients
Every candle is made with a coconut-soy wax blend, cotton wicks and fragrance oils that are phthalate-free, free from parabens and formaldehyde donors, cruelty-free, IFRA compliant and California Proposition 65 compliant. We believe what goes into our products matters just as much as how they make you feel.
Designed to Last
Our vessels are made to be kept long after the candle is finished. Whether they're reused for cotton swabs, makeup brushes, propagation or something entirely your own, we hope they continue to have a place in your home.
Less Waste, More Intention
We're always looking for ways to make Soft Current more thoughtful, from recyclable glass vessels to refill options we're currently developing to help reduce waste. We know sustainability isn't a finish line and we're committed to making better choices as we continue to grow.
Our Founder
I rarely found everything I was looking for in one candle brand. The more elevated brands had the clean, understated design I loved but often felt overly sophisticated or a little too untouchable. The more comforting, nostalgic scents usually came in farmhouse-style vessels or packaging that felt visually cluttered for what I wanted in my home.
I wanted the two to exist together: beautiful design with fragrances that still felt warm, playful and personal. Something refined without feeling too formal and a brand that could offer a small escape from how fast everything moves now.
Soft Current represents wonder, ease and the idea that everyday life is worth romanticizing. It’s meant to feel like stepping into a version of life you’ve always wanted to live that’s familiar enough to feel like home, yet dreamlike enough to feel like a world of your own.
